Spot on, but missing a few points… Between the after school meetings, grading, and emails, we put in countless overtime hours for free; not even that terrible coffee in the teachers’ lounge is free, we supply it; we spend money from our own pockets on classroom supplies, many of us get up at 5:00, not 6:00; our weekend and summers are spent attending professional development courses and doing paperwork… should we go on?
