The real life models used for Lady and the Tramp were both female dogs. Lady’s model was named Blondie and was owned by one of the animators. I’m not sure of the name of Tramp’s model but she was a pound rescue.
Lady and the Tramp is based off a lesbian love story pass it on
Ton: So. Who broke it? I’m not mad, I just wanna know.
Retsuko: I did. I broke it-
Ton: No, no you didn’t. Komiya?
Komiya: Don’t look at me. Look at Haida.
Haida: What? I didn’t break it.
Komiya: Huh, that’s weird. How’d you even know it was broken?
Haida: Because it’s sitting right in front of us, and it’s broken.
Komiya: Suspicious…
Haida: No, it’s not!
Tsubone: If it matters – probably not, but – Fenneko was the last one to use it.
Fenneko: *gasp* Liar, I don’t even drink that crap!
Tsubone: Oh, really? Then what were you doing around the coffee cart earlier?
Fenneko: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticules, everyone knows that, Tsubone!
Retsuko: ok, ok, let’s not fight, I broke it, let me pay for it, Mr Ton.
Ton: No. Who broke it?
Everyone: …
Haida: Ton, Tsunoda’s been awfully quiet-
Tsunoda: Really?!
Haida: Yeah, really-
Tsunoda: Oh my word-
Everyone: *bickering*
…
Ton: *in another room* I broke it. It burned my hand so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they’ll be at each other’s throats with warpaint on their faces and a head on a stick. *turns around and smiles* Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.
