The Looney Tunes Show was great. Sucks that it only got two seasons. Last night I watched an episode where Granny told Daffy about how she was a WAC during WWII. That episode was beautiful.
It was the last days of WWII. They Nazis were being run out of France, but they decided to take some of France’s most valuable art.
The show’s animators drew pretty accurate Mp-40s, considering the show’s style. Normally most animated shows would draw a gun vaguely resembling whatever it was supposed to be.
Including the Eiffel Tower.
Tweety served as a carrier pigeon(they were using all of the birds they could find).
Here’s Granny kicking a nazi on top of the blimp.
And here’s Tweety saving Granny’s life
Granny and Tweety Bird are war heroes.
I can’t believe Sylvester’s been trying to eat an honored veteran
Disney animated snow here to be soft and heavy. I think they even developed a whole software just for animating snow! They add a lot more vivid color, like the blues in the shadows and the oranges in the light. Obviously, the way they animate catches the eye easier because of its strong color and bouncy movement. Characteristic and still reminiscent of the classic Disney movies.
Dreamworks made the snow here look powdery, like it had just fallen. Look how it kind of “explodes” and clouds up like dust when it’s hit with such a great impact. It’s less colored by light, but it still looks very real. Dreamworks puts so much love and detail into their animation, making it look so real you feel like you can reach out and touch it.
Both Disney and Dreamworks make movies that are amazing to look at. I could stare at the details forever.
This is the kind of animation and positivity i need on my dash.
…*sighs* such beauty…
This is legit the first Disney/Dreamworks comparison i’ve ever seen on my dash that hasn’t been aggressively one-sided i’m shocked
I want to write an action movie about some older retired government agent who’s married and settled down. He’s started to let his guard down. And that’s when the past comes back to haunt him.
They come for him while he’s home alone and he’s resisting their interrogation techniques, refusing to betray whatever or whoever they’re after. Except then his teenage daughter comes home early.
And the baddies send one of their henchmen out there to deal with her. And RetiredActionDad is all “Don’t you touch her! I’ll kill you! Rar!” But the baddies just laugh.
Except they realize, after a little while has passed, that the one guy never came back from dealing with the daughter.
And then go outside and find the missing baddie floating face down in the pool.
The rest of the movie is the teenage girl calling in favors and running around following the baddies to save her RetiredActionDad.
