It’s so weird to me that people label Fred the ‘Athlete’ of Mystery Inc. He came up with highly extravagant plans, was always the one reading the newspaper, wanted to be a mystery writer, and did acting at school. Fred is the Art Kid.

Shaggy, however, was a track star and top gymnast which is why he and Scooby were always used as bait and runners for Fred’s plans and potentially why he consumed so much food. Shaggy is the Athlete.

Fred probably worked on theater crew in high school and worked the rafters, which is probably where he got his fetish for ropes and nets

okay this is objectively fucking hilarious like I know it’s real but it seems like something out of a parody. I’m supposed to look at this and seriously believe that jude law is lusting after that? that his heart’s most desperate desire is that raw chicken breast with hair? I’m meant to see jude law pining after that absolute saltine of a man and not laugh??

They hadn’t got time to have my boots made for me, which is usually the case, because of my large feet, so I had to do with a pair out of stock. Now there I was, on the first day of shooting, this very, very cross, unpleasant gentleman, Grand Moff Tarkin, stomping around, and it was agony, it really was.

So the next day I said to dear George Lucas, the director, I said, “George, I am not asking for close ups, but do you think you could shoot me from the waist upwards from now on?” And he said “Why,” and I explained the reasons, so he said “Oh, all right,” and he gave me a pair of carpet slippers.

So for the rest of the film I stomped around looking extremely angry, very cross, with that dear little Carrie Fisher, as Grand Moff Tarkin in carpet slippers!
