Besame Cosmetics Agent Carter 1946 Collection: Field Agent Lip Kit

Ooooh girl I love these shades, although I already own Red Velvet, packaged here as Sweet Dreams. All are creamy and opaque with 1-2 sweeps. Slight vanilla scent. Packaging is key for this release and it is pristine. A burgundy pebbled-leather-like box with gold embossed initials and SSR logo (and tan velveteen lining) house the three lipstick bullets which are engraved in the style of the show’s lipstick weapons.

Is it worth $68? Buying these three shades separately would cost $66, and if I’m paying for truly beautiful packaging with those two extra dollars, then it’s worth it! If you love this formula, don’t hesitate to pick up these three shades. But that’s just my opinion!

T.T I want this so bad but I cannot afford the glorious makeups or the pretty packaging.

Other fans of Agent Carter with deeper wallets, may you enjoy the collection! I’ll just sit here and dream.

I’m so tempted but with shipping prices and not actually being available to Aus it makes it difficult and expensive enough that I will be holding off on even attempting to get it

It won’t ship outside of the US at all (which they never announced which I find borderline deceitful. they let people be hyped for a YEAR without telling them, that unless you were US you couldn’t have it). you have to use parcel forwarding (super not cheap because althought the box only weighs 1.5lb, because of the dimensions it’’s sized up into the 5lb category, doubling the cost.  It was £32 just for shipping to the UK but HOPEFULLY that includes customs and negates the £8 RM handling, but as orders of $50+ are free international shipping it stung to have to pay extra) but AUS seems to have gotten the shaft there too.

Red Velvet in the Sweet Dreams packaging is allegedly going to be available indivudally whent he rest of the collection drops (only a compact and mystery item to go, so nowhere NEAR as large as the Snow White Collection or as large as I’d hoped honestly. tbh, its a really small collection and Im still hella pissed they never announced it wouldn’t ship overseas) but the rest of the lipsticks will not.  You can still get the shades as they’re not new shades, they’re Dusty Rose and Red Hot Red respectively, but not in the AC packaging. These three were chosen because they’re the three shades she wears in the show.  Red Velvet is the only one she wears in season 1, it’s Peggy’s classic shade, and then she wears that and RHR in s2 along with Dusty Rose when she wore a pink lip.

I wish there had also been new shades along with those, like the Snow White collection had, and the smallness of the collection is disappointing, BUT the mystery box (as it was when I purchased it) is so beautiful, I’ll be storing the rest of my Besame makeup in it when it arrives and I wanted a new Red Velvet anyway and was holding off because I just KNEW it was going to be part of this collection, and i was planning on purchasing a full size Dusty Rose so Im pretty happy.
