Avengers ThunderScience Headcanons

-when Thor and Bruce finally come back from their adventures in space the team is very surprised to see that Bruce is still alive

-he immediately goes to Natasha to apologize but they both agree that it’s for the best that they don’t try a relationship again, Bruce not wanting to hurt Nat again

-as he’s adjusting to being on Earth again both he and Thor are trying to wrap their heads around the mess that is what’s left of the team

-“Tony who’s this spider kid on the news? And why is he wearing a Stark tech. suit?”

-needless to say he needs serious anger management classes and Thor is more than willing to help his friend

-they try yoga, Thor being very inflexible getting easily frustrated and accidentally breaks a nearby table

-similar incidents happen with every attempt at relaxing methods to the point Bruce is more frustrated by Thor with each passing day

-Thor meanwhile is oblivious to this making it almost impossible for Bruce to stay mad at the man who is essentially a large blonde retriever

-while on the run Bruce learned how to cook, his favorite dish being chicken tikka masala

-after trying it, it becomes Thor’s favorite too

-they both love spicy food a lot, Tony thinks it’s ironic

-they don’t live with the rest of the Avengers in the new building, instead Bruce moves into a house Tony bought and Thor follows close behind

-Thor is very touchy feely, and is constantly casually touching Bruce a lot

-he’s uncomfortable at first but slowly gets used to casual hugs and other touching

-Thor watched Big Hero 6 and immediately demanded to know what fist bumping was

-a destroyed coffee table and three almost hulk outs later Bruce and Thor develop their own handshake

-with no one to stop them all they ever have for breakfast is poptarts

-a trip to the dentist later Thor is hiding in the corner threatening to hurt the oddly familiar dentist

-Bruce had to be the one to calm him down, holding his hand as they cleaned Thor’s teeth

-as they’re leaving Bruce is surprised when Thor casually kisses him for thank you

-there’s similar small interactions as they continue to live together when the infinity war starts

-it’s right after Bruce wakes up in a hospital room to see Thor waiting for him expectantly and is surprisingly panicked

-“Banner, we were so worried, you got hit by that ship and didn’t get up when-”

-Bruce shuts him with a kiss surprising then both

-“Banner?”

“You were stressing me out.”

-Thor is almost sure he has Midgardian type now
